Most likely the po out was wrong. I have tried to update the USB drivers with no avale a little direction on this would help. I have a Kenwood TK Glad you were able to resolve it! If you'd like to share those extra steps in the form of a short tutorial I'll add it to the main download section and give you a few extra download points for your trouble. Make sure you select the proper radio model. A commercially available DB male to DB-9 female adapter may be needed depending on the port configuration of your computer.

I tried the 4. Input all necessary data. Specify the transceiver model you want to program. Trending, Past 7 days No. Have you used the cable before?

When you open the program, click model, then model information. Switch ON the power to the computer. I am completely new to this siteradios Motorola programming so please be patient with me You can print out the data on a printer.

The computer must have a serial communication port to connect to a transceiver and be compatible with an IBM asynchronous communications adapter. Show 9 more replies. So is sounds like you just had the wrong cable.

By tech posted July 28th8: I will try to look today, because I don't remember exactly how to set the port in this particular software. I used windows 10 and there were no issues.
